Welcome at the website of Rozenkwekerij Ton Smits.
I am a born and raised rose grower. As a child I was already helping my father budding his roses.
Step by step I modernised the rose nursery.
Deliberately I have chosen for small-scale and specialization because I see quality, flexibility, reliability and direct contact as the basis of my company.
Per year we cultivate 100.000 bare root roses and approximately 50.000 container roses.
Part of the bare root roses are being used for the cultivation of our container roses.
However, our specialism is cultivating historical and rare roses.
On request of our customers we can adapt our assortment.
Mid 80ties we started cultivating container roses as one of the first. Over the years we have gained a lot of experience.
Meanwhile we also provide the production of container roses for other customers.
Along with providing a qualitatively good product we find the contact with our customers very important.
We have a short communication line and we can answer your questions in Dutch, German, English and Spanish.
Our customers include merchants, nurseries, garden centres, landscapers as well as other companies in the tree nursery sector.
If you are looking for historical roses, the usual assortment of licence free bare root roses and container roses, all cultivated with craftmanship, you are very welcome.
